Julia does not like Nicky and considers him ugly, but she then meets Grant at a diner whom she is attracted to.
However, she scares Grant away by mistakenly hitting him with a pot. Julia, in her desperation to find her true love goes to consult a love therapist who pimps her into a slim lady and finds her a role in a reality show in which Grant is also involved in. Through this, the two end up dating. Despite a series of challenges faced by them the film ends with Julia and Grant getting married. The film was written by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer and it was directed by Aaron Seltzer.
